Lets Go!

I’ve been traveling up a storm, I’ve been spending some time in Helsinki and Poland, discovering, being, creating. I’m getting prepped to shoot a new series of commercials for Kookenkä which I’m super excited about! I leave for NYC in the next few days, followed by a quick stop through in Chicago, more on that later.. I also have had some dramatic moments happening, its never easy when you choose to stand by what you believe. More updates soon bunnies Xxo

Oh Wow! Only back for a week in NYC and then I’m off to Finland for the premiere of my commercials for shoe company Kookenkä! Things have been aligning in a strange way, or probably the way they were supposed to all along. I’ve been shooting alot on my free time, and am DREAMING of my very own camera, yes I don’t actually own one, but I have alot of helpful friends(thank you). Now time to pack up outfits, accessories, you name it. Then its Helsinki time, packed with life changing meetings and budget approvals, followed by my first trip ever to Poland for 10days to see my best friend, XX

Helsinki Fashion Weekend

Hmmmm….I’m living in a bubble of make-believe and everything is so falling into place. Dreams and take-offs

Its 2am, Im not tired, I stayed in tonight so that I wouldn’t fly tired, but there is too much excitement in the air. What do you do when you notice your life has changed, and that all these little wishes you made slowly come true. Finland awaits, and I’ll be landing Monday morning, look out for me streets of Helsinki, I’m coming, and not alone. #getsteepgang 

Upside Down

If I could tell you the whole truth, you would wonder how one keeps going under such pressures. I’m about to leave for Finland, with a few edits still up in the air, bags unpacked, apartment in disarray, laundry undone. This is sort of normal for me, this whole last minute thing. What I’m looking forward to most, is seeing all my friends and being able to just float for a moment, for a week precisely. Work has  been heavy on the heart and on the mind, but the outcome is insanity. The past 5 months have been beyond my imagination.

Here we are

                                Lopetin kirjoittamisen kaikkein sisimmästäni sekä syvimmistä tunteistani kun tajusin, että ehkä on parasta pitää ne omana tietonaan, eikä minun tarvitse niitä jakaa muiden kanssa. Ei myöskään ole välttämätöntä kääntää sydäntäni ylösalaisin ihan viikottain ja syöttää ilon tai murusia rakkaille lukijoilleni!

Nyt pitkän tauon jälkeen sain uuden kirjoitusinspiraation! Kuvitelkaa, että muutama kuukausi sitten toivoin valtavasti jotain ja se todella toteutui! Toivoin, että löytäisin elämääni muutosta ja uudenlaista inspiraation kipinää ja ne löytyivät! Joskus hämmästyn itsekin kun mietin missä vaiheessa elämäni nyt on. Olen kasvanut ja kehittynyt niin monella eri tasolla. Tuotanto ja musiikki kulkevat nyt käsi kädessä. Olen tuottanut ja ohjannut kourallisen mainos spotteja Kookengälle ja aina kun nään nimeni vieressä sanan “director”, se hämmentää minua ja kysyn usein itseltäni, olenko ansainnut sen? Hassu juttu! Totuuden nimessä pitää kuitenkin sanoa, että olen tehnyt töitä enemmän kuin ehkä koskaan ennen ja viimeiset kuukaudet ovat olleet uran kannalta täynnä muutoksia. Olen jollain tapaa kehittänyt itseni uudestaan, olen  uusiutunut. Minulla on uusi lookki ja “musiikki meni huoltoon”, koska jos joku ei toimi sitä pitää korjata tai muuttaa tyyliä. Kaikkien vuosien promojen ja useiden yhteistyökumppaneiden jälkeen olen valmiimpi kuin koskaan ennen hyppäämään muutosten aallonharjalle!  Enempää en nyt voi sanoa, muuta kuin sen, että kun tämä materiaali on valmis, moni yllättyy näkemästään! Sitkeys ja peräänantamattomuus ovat osa minua, koskaan ei saa luovuttaa. On lukematon määrä ihmisiä joille haluan näyttää, että olivat väärässä ja juuri heitä käytän inspiraationi peruslähteenä!

 

Tulen elokuun loppupuolella Suomeen ja mukanani on erikoisvieras !!
